This site started as some research with LLMs on a hunt for interesting design brands to give as gifts. Quickly, I realized a few thousand-word report wasn't the best way to navigate this information, so I turned it over to Claude Code.
Partly this is an experiment in “software for one” —the fact you can now build things for an audience of one or a few. Not everything needs to scale: sometimes, you just want a tool that fits your brain.
The layout was inspired by NextMaster (a McMaster-Carr clone), cleaned up and extended with the help of the fantastic Anthropic frontend design skill.
I hope you like the site and find yourself inspired by the brands collected here—and by the ability we all have now to put things into the world.
